“What does it take to be a foster home?”
- How long will I have my foster pets?
Normally 1-4 weeks. As a volunteer you can choose dates that you are unavailable. - Who needs fostering?
Kittens, puppies and adult pets recovering from surgery. Hospice foster homes are sometimes needed. - Does it cost me anything to Foster a pet?
No. HSO provides everything your foster pet needs from food to vaccinations. You provide the safe and loving environment. - How do I get more info or volunteer?
